Successful real estate investing requires certain attributes and skill sets. This chapter will define those attributes and skill sets so that you will be well-prepared before you start investing. Additionally, it will provide action items that you can take now to improve your position so that you reduce risk in the future and increase the chances of success.

Why Invest

Real estate investing has many advantages including tax deductions, rental income, and the ability to use leverage to grow your wealth. This chapter will teach you all about these advantages, and how you can use them to best position yourself for investment growth.

What to Invest Into

Real estate offers many different types of property opportunities to invest into. This chapter explains the different types to help you determine which types would be right for you, as well as which opportunities to avoid.

How to Invest

Learning how to invest will be key to your real estate success. This chapter will teach you professional strategies for how to invest, how to evaluate new opportunities, access funding options, and negotiate to win the properties you want.

Where to Invest

Location, Location, Location! The area in which you purchase will have a substantial effect on the value you receive when you sell your property. This chapter will educate you on ways of sourcing, developing your buying areas, and growing your real estate knowledge and skill set.

Best Time to Invest

Just like the economy, real estate markets are cyclical. With the right tools, you can significantly reduce your risk and help protect your investment. This chapter will teach you market indicators and other tools to help you successfully invest throughout different cycles of the market.
