HOW the swmg Advisor Apprenticeship program™ WORKS
AT HIRE
Once hired, Apprentice schedules and sits for CFP exam as soon as possible.
YEAR 1
Apprentice will be trained as a Paraplanner by experienced advisors.
YEAR 2
Once CFP is earned, Paraplanner becomes Advisor / Paraplanner and will be trained for client meetings.
YEAR 3
Advisor / Paraplanner transitions to full Advisor role.
YEARS 4-8
Advisor benefits from ensemble practice allowing them to focus on growing knowledge and income.
YEARS 8+
Advisor can partner by year eight to participate in firm profits and future firm growth.
RETIREMENT
Advisor is able to sell equity stake back to the firm at agreed-upon value.
