The Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth offers a supportive, home-like community that eases burdens for seriously ill children and their families.

Their programs include the 57-bedroom House on 8th Avenue, the Ronald McDonald Family Room located inside Cook Children’s Medical Center and the Day Program.

Tarrant Area Food Bank (TAFB) is the primary source of donated food for hunger-relief charities and feeding programs in 13 North Texas counties.

Their mission is empowering communities to eliminate hunger by providing food, education, and resources through innovation and collaboration.

The Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center offers comprehensive and compassionate oncology services on one campus to better serve men and women diagnosed with cancer in Tarrant County and surrounding areas.

Safe Haven is the domestic violence service provider in Tarrant County providing assistance to families healing from violent relationships. Their services include immediate shelter and housing, a 24-hour crisis hotline, support and counseling and legal counsel, as well as, prevention and reformative services.

The Honored Hero Run is a family-friendly event to honor those who have battled or are currently battling blood cancer. This event is a collective endeavor, by a group of local leaders and friends, to bring the community together in an effort to raise awareness of and funds for blood cancer research. Proceeds are donated to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society.

The Fort Worth Zoo Run is an annual fun run hosted by the Fort Worth Zoo where they encourage participants to dress like their favorite zoo animal to bring awareness and help support their wildlife conservation and education efforts.

The Acton Nature Run is an annual run hosted by the Acton Nature Center of Hood County to help promote their recreational and educational venue for nature enthusiasts of all ages.
