Jacklee Woods began working as Strittmatter Wealth’s Director of Hospitality in 2017. Jacklee grew up in subtropical Perrine, Florida, where she graduated high school and met her late husband, Van Woods Sr. She is a proud wife of a former Air Force veteran, and served in the countries of Misawa, Japan, then to Taipai, Taiwan, and eventually being transferred to Augsburg, Germany.
Her joy has always been her family. While being in these countries, she focused her efforts on raising her children. When they returned to the states, they came to Fort Worth where they were stationed at Carswell Air Force Base. They fell in love with the area and decided to stay and raise their four children, which includes: Xavier (Esther) Van Jr. (Lynn) Stefon (Brenda) Vanessa (Ola). She has seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren whom she dearly loves.
While making a home in Fort Worth, Jacklee established her career at XTO Energy where she retired after 11 years with the company. While retirement was enjoyable, Jacklee preferred to stay busy and found a new home at Strittmatter Wealth. She enjoys the daily interactions with clients and greeting everyone who walks through the doors of SWMG with a warm smile and heartfelt greeting.
Jacklee is another piece of the puzzle when it comes to giving back to the local community through her family and friends and at work volunteering to help local children and families at Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In her spare time, you can find Jacklee sewing, writing, cooking, and helping with interior design. Her greatest joy is spending time with her family and friends. She likes to think of herself as one who never stops learning.
Jacklee considers her top three personal values to be loyalty to God, family, and friends; displaying love, even under adversity; and always trying to give a person the benefit of the doubt.
